I man just wanna know how black Americans veiw and sight “REPATRIATION” , Most American blacks was against Marcus Garvey Back-to-Africa Movement and plans , they wanted a Mount Zion inna de Indian Land of america / north-south america but Physical and material Zion is AFRICA IN THE EAST AND NOT THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE .
Black Americans have this very proud / pride thing about them , one of this thing is that they feel that blacks was here in the WEST BEFORE THE SLAVE TRADE SO THIS GAVE THEM RIGHTS TO THE AMERICAN CONTINENT and think they dont have to “REPATRIATE” to africa or anywhere and this is very damaging to Rastafarian Believes and veiws on “REPATRIATION” , this is also one of the reason Marcus Garvey did not suceed with his REPATRIATION Movement and plans , what Black people in the America`s think about “REPATRIATION” ??? , do you wanna leave UNCLE TOM SYSTEM / Babylon / Second Egypt or you all still waiting on your slice of the cake and waiting on just a little piece of the BIG APPLE instead of a whole Continent call Mount Zion Africa ???,
13Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing:
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!" 14The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.

One blessed love Royal Sons and Dawtas of Qedamawi Haile Selassie and Empress Menen , King of Kings and the Queen of Queens , prophecy must be fullfil and the prophet said when he was speaking with the sprit of Jah Ras Tafari ; " I will bring thy seed from the east and gather thee from the west (western hemisphere / the western world ) , I shall say to the north ; give up and to the south hold not back , but send my sons and dawtas from near and far and everyone that is called by my name ".
REPATRIATION IS A PROPHECY THAT MUST BE FULLFIL BECAUSE HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY IF ONE OF H.I.M WORDS IS NOT MANIFESTED OR FULLFIL AND I and I KNOW HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL NOT PASS AWAY SO H.I.M WORDS MUST TAKE ON TO ITSELF LIFE AND GROW ROOT , H.I.M WORDS MUST BECOME FLESH SO Iand I KNOW THAT REPATRIATION IS A MUST .

Not all of us in this Amerikkka were against Honorable Marcus Garvey. My great-uncle and great-aunt, now ancestors, were ready to leave this place but it was at a time when the cracka government sabotaged everything from the ships to the financing. Early co-in-tel-pro. Eventually they did leave in 1940. Now I here trying to leave this place!

I know this is an old and I hope dead issue but I was looking for a particular article about education His Majesty made and ran across this one with a statement by Marcus Garvey just to let you know how he felt about the issue of African-Americans. One for all and all for one. We must recognize that His Majesty says that "Unity is our greatest weapon and our greatest strength. 1 luv.

Marcus Garvey says, In America the Negro being a minority, in a majority population, realizes immediately that he is classified as an inferior race, and as such he is ostracized and kept back, and sometimes kicked and killed because of his racial attachment. This action has helped to give the American Negro a consciousness that means much to him as a race, and so if anything worthwhile is to come out of the Negro, such will be traceable to the American Negro: except if the West Indian Negro, by some miracle or otherwise can develop a consciousness in his present environment, which will give him the opportunity to prove of really what mettle he is made of as a Negro.”

The article was really thus:
His Imperial Majesty Haile Sellassie I
ON EDUCATION
A strong nation and a free nation can only base itself upon education. Learning and technical training must be nurtured by faith in God, reverence for the human soul, and respect for the reasoning mind. There is no safer anchorage for our learning, our lives and our actions than that provided by divine teaching coupled with the best in human understanding.
The leaders developed here should be guided by the fundamental values and the moral power which have for centuries constituted the essence of our religious teachings.
These are crucial times when nations rise against nations, tensions increase and disaster is possible at any moment. Distances are shrinking. Peace and life itself are threatened by misunderstanding and conflict. Now is the time when man’s relationship to God must be the foundation for all his efforts toward enlightenment and learning the basis for understanding cooperation and peace.
The existence of a skilled and trained manpower is an absolute necessity for the progress and development of any country.
Therefore, it is the sacred duty and responsibility of students and parents to see to it that the mistakes of the past are not repeated and that time which should be devoted to the pursuit of learning is not wasted by students heedlessly, following the instigation of a few misguided troublemakers who have yet to understand the value and the true meaning of education.
The salvation of our country Ethiopia, we have repeatedly stated to you, lies primarily in education. As Ethiopia in one, all Ethiopians are also one and education is the only way to maintain the condition.

Blessed Jah people
This here is a crucial topic. I am in Zion myself, and know a sister, a descendant of the slave trade, who will be rellocating permanently to Botswana before end of this year. And I have friends who are staying with me right now thru a havard exchange program, who are relocating, but to Ja instead, and not Zion. It's is happening, but obviously not at the pace Mosiah Garvey expected it to. Zion train is moving, just hasn't picked up nuff speed.
And maybe I can be enlightened on this; Ja is predominantly black. If we take away the geographics, could it be appropriate to call it repatriation, if someone is moving there from Weird Weird West Babylon?
Rastafarian elders also ensured that they obtained a private audience with the Emperor, where he reportedly told them that they should not emigrate to Ethiopia until they had first liberated the people of Jamaica. This dictum came to be known as "liberation before repatriation".
I sight this dis morning as I searched for some info 4 to share with my peoples...as a result of Planno's actions, the Jamaican authorities were asked to ensure that Rastafarian representatives were present at all state functions attended by His Majesty, and Rastafarian elders also ensured that they obtained a private audience with the Emperor, where he reportedly told them that they should not emigrate to Ethiopia until they had first liberated the people of Jamaica. This dictum came to be known as "liberation before repatriation".
Defying expectations of the Jamaican authorities, Selassie never rebuked the Rastafari for their belief in him as the returned Jesus. Instead, he presented the movement's faithful elders with gold medallions - the only recipients of such an honor on this visit. During PNP leader (later Jamaican Prime Minister) Michael Manley's visit to Ethiopia in October 1969, the Emperor allegedly still recalled his 1966 reception with amazement, and stated that he felt he had to be respectful of their beliefs. This was the visit when Manley received as a present from the Emperor, the infamous "Rod of Correction" or "Rod of Joshua" that is thought to have greatly helped him to win the 1972 election in Jamaica.
Should we listen to you or Jah. He says in the video that America is a second home for all people. You quote, " I will bring thy seed from the east and gather thee from the west ... He will gather us not you. Remember that there are more than ten times more so-called African Americans than Jamaicans. All that glitters is not gold...all Africa ain't the same as Ethiopia. All Ethiopians do not love the Conquering Lion. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time. Jah leading not you. Gwon with yo divide and conquer instead of uniting like the the Father seh. Yesditty we commemorated Jonah starting his trip to warn Nineveh. Every knee shall bend not just the ones called Black Americans. We all fall short in Jah sight. Git up off yo high horse and humble yoself. Jah love us all.
Scriptural reading for today say: SECOND READING: James 2: 5 - 14.
Listen, my beloved brethren. Has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you, is it not they who drag you into court? 7 Is it not they who blaspheme that honorable name which was invoked over you? 8* If you really fulfil the royal law, according to the scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well. 9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. 11* For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," said also, "Do not kill." If you do not commit adultery but do kill, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. 13 For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy; yet mercy triumphs over judgment.
The Anaphora of St. John Chrysostom
FIRST READING: Romans 5: 8 - 12.
But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. 9* Since, therefore, we are now justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10* For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11* Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received our reconciliation.
