This Reasoning was quite inspired by Empress Coco's post and those who agreed with what da sistah was saying and with due raspect this is what I have to say.
I wish you could all see my face as I type this,as I was reading Empress Coco's post I was crying and itts all because of this race thing.
Mi Bradas and Sistahs who still have this issue of colour up dem sleeves read and overstand careful wat Ini is going to say::
Empress Coco says Rastafari is a movement fi Black people,well I dont disagree with that.I want mi bradas n sistahs out there to ask themselves HOW DID IT COME ABOUT THAT RASTAFARI BE STARTED? WHAT WAS THE REASON? WHY?
The only thing that comes up to I-mind is that Rastafari is there fi iyaric to claim what is ours,OUR ROOTS,OUR ROOTS PEOPLE,OUR ROOTS.As a Rastafari I am following H.I.M's teaching and only H.I.M can lead us to the TRUTH.H.I.M said we should not discriminate and if He says so then it should be done.
There is no point in arguing the issue of color because we were created by one,where do you think white people come from?WHERE?WE WERE CREATED BY ONE TO BE ONE.WHRE HAS THE ONE LOVE GONE TO NOW?
Of course white people came into our land and took it from us,well we know that,of cos we do.This is more like you guys want to punish people who are not responsible,I mean the new generation which are now Rastas,you want to punish them for the sins of their Ancestors,ITS WRONG,ITS VERY WRONG.
I believe those "white rastas" were meant to be Rastas because like you,they found the truth in H.I.M. and followed the TRUTH.WE WERE CREATED BY ONE GOD TO BE ONE PEOPLE,ONE PEOPLE.
You are all discriminating as soon as you say "for black people".Are we always going to fight for one thing for the rest of our lifes? Land? Oh no!! Rather as black Africans let us claim and fight for what is ours,OUR ROOTS.Well Afrika was for black people because them lived in it then but now Afrika is all ours,BlacK and WHite.With our first parents,Adam and Eve,the Creator said "I give you this land to live on it so that you multiply and occupy it" and that is exactly what happened we are now all over thihs world with whiites included.
No man owns this land,this land belongs to the Creator and we are all visitors in it as that one day we have to return back home to our Creator,thats it.
Oh blackman be clever,LOOK,IF WHITE PEOPLE ARE PART OF THE MOVEMENT,IT MEANS THAT WE ARE INITED,WE ARE ONE.WHICH SIMPLY = ONE LOVE.The Creator had a plan for us to inite that is why white people are part of us.
Its not this white generation's problem that your ancestors forgot their roots but its you problem to claim your roots as this generation,and its not their problem that their ancestors had an influence on your ancestors forgettig their roots.I SIMPLY MEAN BECAUSE WE ARE NOW TOGETHER LETS TRY TO MAKE UP FOR THE MISTAKES OUR FOREFATHERS(black and white) did and forgive each other.The Holy Book speaks bout FORGIVENES AND FORGIVENES IS THE ROOT OF RECONCILLIATION.
The whites are part of Rastafari to make peace,to inite,to make up for the mistakes made in the past because they found the truth.
Lets walk away from the past and live from the present not leave but live.
Look at some of the positivethings that were brought by whites,education,which led to technology,which you use at the moment,it led to BLACK EMPOWERMENT.

'becoz of what the white opressors did many years ago, we cant trust any whites/europeans to be rasta or be a part of our world', ok so what about the 'white' people who died and suffered to fight on behalf of the blacks and still do, who go to help black people who are maimed, attacked, starved to death, orphaned and left to die by their own black people? So all the aid workers and volunteers( 75% europeans) should get out of Afrika and anywhere where Black people suffering ...lol...ok go tell dem dat a suffer dat! ya tink is down to europeans why Africa so bad? It was indeed down to a few decent white folks that black slaves were freed and slavery abolished. why would they do that if they did not believe slavery & racism wrong & were willing to risk all to speak out? as the strength continued the people who were against it, but scared to admit it came out of the woodwork..that is when the strength was too strong, is not only white man enslave black people (fact). Those rasta on here who despise europeans regardless of what good they do in respect of black people..do you donate to anything for black people?, do you go volunteer to help your Afrikaan brothers and sisters? Do you raise money to send food/aid to Africa?..Do you give up your job and go live there and help for free without a fancy hotel for accommodation, fresh running water and service?..show of hands please!!
Racial tension has eased greatly over the years and many europeans, disgusted by racism and of the history forcibly attached to them, come together and forge a strength in what they believe in..be it Rasta, christian, whatever... they dont carry the same fantasies as their ancestors and want to show they dont!! They still risk all to help, but ask yourself why you not there instead? Black/white/chinese/indian all over the world there are Rasta's..the ones seeking to live in peace and harmony, that see NO-ONE beneath them, who's heart is full of love for his brothers n sistahs regardless of skin colour. Is like some people just want to keep stale argument from way back and ignore what happening right now..and they do nothing but concentrate on rebelling on da past, a sit on dem perch a preach segregation and disharmony.. it nah feed ya brothers n sisters hungry belly now yuh nuh! then to bring it into a next generation and then a next creatin hatred fi dem own selfish reasons..I dont say bury history .. I say It mus always be there..reachable..teachable.. but dont use it as a weapon and in vexation against people who are INNOCENT now!..whether you vexed or keep it on a low, is wrong to keep the hatred burning inside for people/against people who dont happen to have the same skin colour as you. So is not ok for europeans to be racist, vexed that blacks still exist or have rights, but is ok for black people to vex and hate people who have a different skin colour even tho they dont have hatred for you?..thats a bit twisted i think.. personally. As why would you want to be a minority all your life? why would you want to keep a wedge in the progression of positiveness between colour or race. Jah made people of all colours and race, to speak different languages etc, we are supposed to live together, embrace eachother, tolerate eachother..not to promote hatred or exclusion in his name..Some people like war, some dont..some people will vex bout one type o war but will enjoy endulgin in a notha..again..twisted.
What happened years ago will never happen again..rejoice!!!...and you know why? LOVE and more LOVE...coz there's too many awakened..who see the devil at play plus theres too many troddin towards jah light, disowning those who are racist & hateful.. those who want to stop them will not stop them.. only get in their way (as evil does sometimes)..tho why would you want to shun anyone and promote selective racism is beyond me..dont think it will help you on your journey..when you reach .. you gonna seh 'oh i did as you wished ..I spurned all non-blacks coz of slavery, jus like how you wanted me too Jah'...you think Jah is racist? you think he will himself be racist...? Those who judge on race & the history of slavery have issues that will not be ironed out easily, I overstand that..but saying rasta is only fi black skin people a crazy talk.. Rasta is not a secret seclusive exclusive society, it is not a excuse for colour boundry or to vent your vexation thru. This is a topic making I really sad and I fully agree with Jahswitnes why are there still people who are judgeing by skin colour? What makes one better than the other? We are all made after HIS image and its the same red blood flowing through IandI venes. The world will keep on fighting if you cant stop dis others. Its the unity that makes IandI strong. Positiveness, no downpressing of one another. With peace and love we will be strong, united in faith. When will the day come when the colour of a man skin is of no more significance than his eyes?
I know marcus garvey said ..."and its just now we see our god as a black god" BUT Jah is the most powerfull and therefore HIM can take on any flesh HIM like. Beside JAH lives in all of us and is therefore colourfull. Colours are what HIM created.
I live I a dream....I is a white Rasta married to black Rasta with a brown Rasta son, IandI is ONE.
Of course one cannot forget history, it would be wrong because history repeats until IandI learn from it. But it's wrong to judge by our forefathers sins. Beside are IandI not still paying the depts of Adam and Eve? Africa is the roots of all of us, IandI have all the same origin before the world splitted we were ONE, let IandI work on going back to that state, creating our heaven on earth.
