World Of Jah

Are Black people Black people's own enemies? Very possible! Are we harming ourselves and blaming others? It sure seems so. Are we destroying our bodies/temples and pointing fingers at others? It does seem like it! Are we supporting our 'enemies' and then blaming them for our own destruction? Sure we do! Are we taking each others lives and then pointing fingers at our 'enemy'? Oh yes, we do! Ok, I already know the 'explanation' - it is the slavery after effect.

In every damn thing we do and say, we speak of our 'enemy' as someone supreme to us, that controls and directs our lives. There is a huge contradiction when we claim ourselves to be 'gods' of the Universe yet call our 'enemy' the ruler of our country and our world. And this will remain as long as our victim/poverty consciousness remains. This is just as useless as waiting for a government funded ship to take all Black people back to Africa. I mean, I cannot believe there are still Brothers and Sisters who believe that it will really happen. Yes, we were brought here against our will but if we want to go back we have to TAKE ourselves back. The 'enemy' does NOT care that we want to go back to our Motherland. HE DOES NOT. Many Black folks think that because we (our ancestors) went through so much shit by the hands of the Arabs and Europeans, now we are to be served like kings and queens. They will be surprised to find out that that is not how things work. No country/government will ever pay for what their ancestors did to us. No ship or airplane will give us a free ride/ticket to go reunite with our country/continent, NONE.

It is human nature to blame everyone and everything for our own actions. We (most people) simply cannot take responsibility for our own behavior. We don't know how to take responsibility for our failure. As young children we blame our parents; later on in life we still blame our parents but we also add the government, the devil, and the whole damn society. We blame and blame and blame. When it comes to Black people, especially in the Western Hemisphere, we just HAVE to take everything in our own hands now as all the chains have fallen onto the ground. We now can move our arms, we can move our necks, we can move our legs, and now all we have to do is learn how to use one of the greatest gifts we were given by God/The Universe - our MIND.

We need to change the way we THINK. Constantly talking about how destroyed we are as a people will not do us any good for we already know that. Where our mind goes, energy flows! The more we focus on being broke, sick, and controlled, the more broke, sick, and controlled we become! It is time to stop giving more power to those self-destructive thoughts because doing that WE ARE BEING OUR OWN ENEMIES.

We need to stop consuming crap, putting chemicals on our skin, smoke in our lungs and then cry that the government is trying to destroy all Black people! I mean, seriously... it is all about MONEY - that is what "our enemy" cares about. If Black people weren't so ignorant and refused eating "soul food" and/or "McDonalds", 'our enemy' wouldn't be putting so many of them in our neighborhoods. Maybe if we stopped smoking weed, which puts chemicals in our lungs and brain, we would be able to think clearer and avoid being arrested for stupidity. Drugs and western food do not go with our high(er) Melanin levels anyway. That is why we stay addicted to all that crap. I do respect the "sacrament" as a tradition, but I do not and would not put smoke in my lungs that were created to inhale pure oxygen. I have done my research and studies. It is crucial for us as Melanated people to learn how our body works cuz it ain't operate at the same wavelengths as "our enemy's" body does.

Unless we stop complaining, we must stop supporting 'our enemy'! We buy their insurance, their cigarettes, their weed, their beauty products, their drugs, their food; we attend their schools, their jobs, their churches; we support their system! And guess what...it is totally fine with me as long as we don't blame THEM but our own selves if something goes 'wrong' in our life. As long as we do not blame THEM for us being unhealthy and obese; as long as we don't blame THEM for not being able to think clearly after putting chemicals in our bodies, as long as we do not blame THEM for us praying to white Jesus; as long as we don't blame THEM for so many "Soul Foods" in our neighborhoods; as long as we don't blame THEM for no good health food stores where many of us live; as long as we don't blame THEM for getting arrested for possession/usage of Marijuana or other drugs. As long as we don't blame THEM for all that is wrong with OUR OWN SELVES, I am fine. They don't put drugs in our neighborhood for no reason - WE USE THEM. What would happen if we stopped using them? Think about it. Think about that liquor store on the street corner. What if we didn't buy any alcohol? The store would not be able to operate. That is only one example, you come up with the rest.

Many of us want and/or try to save all Black people not knowing that it is IMPOSSIBLE because so many Blacks want not to be saved/helped. If one gets a chance to go to Africa, one will see that some of our "brothers" and "sisters" are ready to take your life for speaking against their colonial religions (Islam and Christianity). In America, Blacks are so busy worshiping foreign gods that it is even impossible to talk to them about anything else. The question is, what are you ready to sacrifice in order to save as many Black people as you possibly could? Your wife? Your children? Your family? Let me be honest with you, I myself tried to save all of my Black brothers and sisters until I realized that many of our people are too hard-headed, they feel comfortable the way they are, and yet others may even kill you for trying to change their colonial mindset. It is true! I have also seen many (way too many) Black 'warriors' who were trying to save every Black face on the face of the planet, yet their wives and children had no food on their plate. These brothers were fighting for liberation of all Blacks, yet their wives were working overtime and killing themselves just to feed them (their husbands) and their little prince and princess. Those Black warriors and liberators needed to do reality-check and find the list of their priorities. When I started a family, I realized what my priorities were. THE FAMILY FIRST. We can't save other people no matter how much we want, if we cannot provide for our own people (family). What I also became conscious of is that to change or help those in need, we first have to become that change, become the example. If we want others to be enlightened, we must first become enlightened and before we know it, the light will bring more and more brothers and sisters towards us. If we become the change we want to see, there will be no risk of loosing life nor to violate anyone's free in order to try to change that person's ways.

But going back to my main point - PLEASE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY BLACK QUEEN AND KING. Get RID of the though that some one else if ruling your city/town, your country, your nation, or your world. Get RID of the thought that your 'enemy' wants to destroy you and start realizing that all he wants is MONEY (and yes, he will go as far to take over your mind in order to get your money) and he could care less where that money comes from. It just happens to be you who supports 'your enemy' the most. That is why in your head it translates to: "THEY WANT TO DESTROY ALL BLACK PEOPLE". Get RID of that poverty consciousness because it is time to ARISE or should I say OPEN your eyes and realize that you, Black Man, are on the exact same level your 'enemy' and everyone else is! We are unexhausted creativity, just like our ancestors were. We CREATE so let us CREATE!

Our enemy is WITHIN us and not WITHOUT. What is outside is just the reflection of the enemy inside of us as a people. As long as we focus on the enemy outside, we might be able to alleviate some "symptoms" but will not destroy the true source of the "disease", our true ENEMY.

p.s. I know there will be a lot of non-Africans who read this happy and jumping up and down but do not get my message wrong, I am not taking any blame off other people because the wrongdoing and mistreat done to Dark-skinned people of this world is unbelievable. So I do hope you all know and realize the part you (your ancestors) played in putting InI in this uncomfortable situation.

Peace

For most Blacks in the US, this will be a very hard pill to swallow I-yah

But from I-man mouth come truth full force; there is much Blacks contribute to their daily ails and sorrows, and condition. Some of it societal prejudice, but some of it rightly Ihi yahnh Ihi doing, seen. When will it be time for Blacks to wake up?

It will take so much re-education, re- wiring of minds, and re-routing goals, presumptions, and perspectives. Quite a task to undertake, but it can be accomplished collectively and cohesively. And many Blacks are simply not ready to let go. So Ihi yahnh Ihi will have to take even smaller steps to begin the process with those.

Is there hope? Has the Black nation become so detached from the self that Ihi yahnh Ihi will have to go hunting to find their lost true selves? For Ihi, it has been in RastafarI that I found I true calling, I true I-vine I-yah self. It may not be this path for others, so Ihi yahnh Ihi will have to find a way to reach ones, with this crucial WordSound without seeming evangelistic.

Ademakinwa, as usual, an I-luhfuhl thought out WordSound that gets to the matter of things.

Thank you for your insightful response, Beloved Sister Aziza

I do agree that it is a very hard pill to swallow but it has already gone down too far and there is no other choice. Yes Sister, it will take a lot of re-education and re-programming of the mind.

I think that a part of the problem (that I forgot to mention) is that we often think ourselves into those uncomfortable situations (arrests, racial prejudice, etc). Why do I say that? Well, I try to look at things from the metaphysical viewpoint as well. The truth is that so many of us strongly believe that because of our skin colour, we will get arrested or treated unfairly. While that is often the case, I sometimes wonder if that is not us that unknowingly and unconsciously attract those unfortunate situation upon us. I ma not trying to be extreme but just wonder because many of us still unfortunatelly don't realize the power of the human Mind. We already know that we can think ourselves sick, well, why could we not think ourselves into being attested or pulled over because of our race? Looking from the metaphysical point of view, that would make perfect sense.

"...many Blacks are simply not ready to let go"

Unfortunately...I believe that we need to shine more light; shine light but do not invade anyone's territory because a lot of people simple don't wish to hear any teachings. I am not sure how big of an impact Barack Obama had on the people from the Chicago's South Side but I (and I think many other people) know how big of an impact he made on Black Americans by becoming a president. People just by looking at his success, want to succeed. They now have great goals and aspirations...people whose future was dark before. Not to say that I agree with Barack Obama opinions and viewpoints, it was simply an example I made. I personally am not his fan or supporter (nor any other politician)

I thank you for your response once again, Empress Aziza.
