Homesick

InI have not felt this homesick in ages. InI miss the comfort of my beautiful homeland, I beautiful people in traditional attire

Churches/mosques/synagoge/mandirs all next to one another no fuss no fight soso lobi (one love)

Reaching up and picking ripe mangoes and guava's to mek juice. The smell of mama home cooked meals prepared with love

The sound of I-dren playing cards lovingly teasing ones and ones, idren gettin fed up, cuss leave the table only fi return and play again

Dogs barkin' at Ivery car that pass the house but when somebody reach the yard self them to lazy to get up and actually do somethin. Sistren playing tunes and dancin, teaching lil ones dances that pay tribute to mama Afrika.
Ai Sranang mi moi switie Kondre mi lobi yu, mi e misi yu sote. IYA Suriname my beautiful sweet country I love you and miss you so much.

BTW Suriname hearts Obama too ;)

Sis Jada my father is in love with the I's homeland! InI do not remember anything about it seeing that InI was still very young when he took me on a business trip with him. Before I father retired he was in T&T at least once a month, he always said that if he had to leave Suriname, T&T would become his new home. Can I bother I-sis for a good recipe for bake? InI know how to mek johny cake but that recipe has butter in it and bake is Ital Vegan if InI is not mistaken.

Oh Zus als je eens wist hoe erg ik gewoon een ticket wil boeken en de boel de boel wil laten hier! Je bent dus weleens in Su geweest? Mag ik zo vrijpostig zijn om te vragen of je kinderen Surinaams zijn? Hoe dan ook volgens mij mist iedereen die voet in dat land zit het op den duur ;)
