Moshe lived before Akhenaton and Imhotep. Jeshua did not give anyone Laws but called for mankind to return to God's laws. Akhenaton did not give any laws, and his successors took great pains to erase him from history.

Akhenaton and Imhotep were great people, but nowhere in the same league as Moshe and Yehoshua ha-Mashiach!!

How can Moshe have been a disciple when Akhenaton lived after him? Moshe lived during the time of Pharoah Amhose I, while Akhenaton was a contemporary of the Israelite King Ahab.

That is true, Sis Kaya IsesaJah. Some things have been repeated so much that they have become "true". I fully support Africans and people of African descent challenging what has been established as religion because it was not established for our benefit. What I will not support however is replacing "established" religion with another set of falsehoods and discredited theories simply because they sound a lot nicer. Rastafari has already offered an alternative and solid look at the Bible-and one that can be backed by fact! The "Egyptianists" attack the Bible by clutching at ideas that have no backing in history, archaelogy etc. This will not help any one at all.

Some time ago, I had this article posted. See LINK I know a lot of people have read it, but to date I am yet to see anyone challenge the proof that I cited. This leaves the arguement that the events of Exodus are a historical fact on solid ground.

Blavatsky is another person highly regarded in some Rastafarian circles even though she said quite clearly that Black people are not capable of any of the heights if spiritual developement that she claimed to have attained.

There are many websites full of rubbish, but at the same time it is so easy to do some background checks. I find people who claim to have worked out the meanings or the background to this and that when they do not know a single word in the Classical languages, including Ancient Egyptian to be suspect. There was a Jehovah's Witness leader who was asked to translate random verses in Hebrew. He failed, and had to admit in a Scottish Court that he was not familiar with Hebrew at all. The problem is, he is one of those who wrote the Jehovah's Witness Bible the so-called New World Translation.

I am not saying that I am cleverer than average, but before I start trashing the Bible I would have to find proof that it is a lie. So far, everywhere I have searched, the evidence in support of its accuracy is compelling. As I showed in that article, the Exodus did happen and was recorded by the Egyptians. We know Akhenaton lived in King Ahab's time because both he and Tutankhamon tried to reclaim Palestine and correspondence exists between the two nations over the subject. There is archaelogical remains of Egypt's presence in what was now Samaria, supported again by the Bible.

There are some who claim that the Chinese are originally a Black race. Such might be, but the Bible assigns them to Japheth (the "Kittim" of Genesis 10, Kittim=Cathay) Sure enough, Chinese legend says that there were three brothers, Japhu, Lo Ham and Lo Shen who survived a flood. The Chinese, according to that legend are the children of Japhu, and they had left their orginal homeland in the west, abandoning a great construction project because one day people woke up and found that they could not understand each other's speech...

There are many examples of lore, records etc from around the world that support the Bible's claims. When the Anglo-Saxons came to Britain, they found the Celts already Christianised. The new religion did not make sense to them, but they were struck by the similarity between the table of nations in Genesis 10 and the recorded Anglo-Saxon royal genealogy which they had brought from Germany, which traced the Anglo-Saxon kings to Japheth.

All this I am referring to is nothing new, just as these wild theories that Akhenaton taught Moses are not new. They were quashed then, and will be quashed now.

Akhenaton lived way after Moses, during the time of King Ahab and the split of Israel in to two Kingdoms. Records of correspondence between Akhenaton's Egypt and Israel have survived to this day. He has no connection whatsoever with the Exodus of the Bible. Nor is he the inspiration behind the Jewish Monotheism-this theory can be traced to Sigmund Freud.

"King soloman = which means " sol = sun / oman = amun = god " sun god" Do you seriously believe this? Solomon is the Anglicization of שְׁלֹמֹה and simply means peace. I doubt that you are conversant with any language other than English because you would know that Sol is not an Egyptian word but a LATIN one and Amun in the original Egyptian is actually Yimmanu.

A pattern is emerging here, sir. No disrespect but it seems you do more than just bend light.

It is unfortunate that the level of reasoning is descending...rather than spiralling upward...this ought not to be a 'battle' of who knows more about HIM vs who knows more about KMT...or who can quote His Majesty the most vs who calls upon HIM the most...nor which civilization is "older' in Egypt vs Ethiopia...let us not be continually defeated by the Babylonian dichotomous way of thinking ...usually leading to the 'divide and rule' application...Search and re-search must be the motto..however it is painful that an event like the ARMANA REVOLUTION should be ignored or unknown to those who possess so much "definite" know- ledge on so many tings...More anon.

What is unfortunate is that certain individuals are determined to hold on to fringe theories in the face of facts because of their animosity towards the Judaeo-Christian tradition. I have no problem with Egyptian religion, I have no problem with the Egyptian religious writings. What I do have a problem is someone dredging up discredited pseudohistory about the Hyksos etc to make the ridiculous claim that Akhenaton and Moses were the same person when records show that they lived centuries apart.

I accept that the Bible is not for everyone's taste, but I do deplore attempts by badly educated individuals to discredit it. Especially when they have to resort to lies, distortions and misconstructions.
