Haile Selassie, who,as a devout Christian,exalts: Yasus Christos, Virgin Maryam, The Holy Bible, and, The Ethiopian Orthodox (Tewahedo) Church; Why do some Rasta's refuse to follow Rastafarai,and continue to burn the Bible and Yasus Christos? Rastafarai/Haile Selassie could NOT have become Emperor unless he was a Christian! Haile Selassie is a Christian name,that H.I.M (Lidj Tafarai) recieved at the 40th day of his life at Baptism(Temqat) Lidj Yasu was on the throne prior to King Rastafarai, He was deposed,because he was an undercover Muslim. Ethiopia is a Christian Nation for over 4000 years;Long before Rome So what is the Problem? Name a doctrine/religion that does NOT follow the words or examples of their Leader,Guru,Imam,Prophet etc... If I did not have in my heart the love of God I don't think I would have acted in a manner that I did. The love of God brings a sense of religiousness in a human being, it gives him comfort for the future and assurance that right cause will ultimately prevail".
