Guidelines for Fundraisers and Donors

The I-Fund aims to facilitate communication between donors and community workers.

Serious fundraisers are highly invited to post in the I-Fund. Please provide some detailed information about what is your project and how the funds will be used. Pictures are also always welcomed.

To efficiently fundraise in the WOJ and online in general a good solution is to make use of Paypal (an online payment system) and ChipIn (for setting up measurable fundraising goals) when possible.

Given the free-form of the fund, fundraisers have a duty to provide donors with detailed reports of the proceeds from the money raised.

On the other hand, donors should not hesitate to ask questions and to make sure fundraisers are held accountable.

InI suggest a category be added called "Funding Sources" in which ones and ones can post information about available funding (grants and such) which anyone who is raising funds can review to see if the particular funding source might be appropriate to the project they are working on. Sometimes there are grants available from private foundations that are run by people who have a consciousness toward the same goals for social justice as InI have.; ▶ Add ur WordSound!

I also think that it would be good to showcase some projects that are already happening within Rastafarian communities around the world. This would help bolster confidence and inspire others.
