Empress at Heart

THE EMPRESS AT HEART MANSION...

Empress at Heart, is a group’s whose sole purpose is to learn from one another. I feel a lot of issues in our society, especially our African-American society, is that their is no longer that drive to learn, to know, and to teach. On this road to righteousness, we are faced with many adversities, especially if trying to adapt a holistic approach to life. Some don’t realize how in Babylon, a holistic approach can be quite expensive and not always practical.. We live in a society where our herbs are no longer adequate to heal and maintain the human body, which came from dirt. Imagine, a synthetic drug holds more bearing than a medicinal plant of the Most High.

I think my eyes were really opened when my little cousin went on Chemotherapy. .she’s like a daughter to me and to see a 5 year old go through such pain, can break down the strongest of strong. But her will and understanding that she is greater than that disease, was truly a sight to behold. What hurts me most is that any mention of alternative medicine, is laughed upon and not even considered because a “Doctor” says his medicine is key. The same “doctor” whose education and training taught him nothing of alternative medicine and the healing of herbs. Especially my brethren & sistren in America, our concept of health is truly off, especially when compared to the West.

I want us all in this group to share our alternatives, our triumphs, and even the setbacks, cause we do learn from mistakes. I called this group “Empress at Heart” because the responsibility of nurturing and caring is synonymous with a woman, and is synonymous with the heart, ant it may ultimately be up to us to instill a better way of living to those around us, especially our families..
