All this modern day medicine will soon catch up with america. You can get a perscription for everything, and they always have a new vaccine. But why don't I (someone who never gets vaccinations) get sick all the time like thos who do?
This is so sad. And they mean people should still get the shot coz she a one in a million case to get like dat... but dere might be a billion more different side effects beside the one she got still!!!

- Blessings and love Empress. Thank you for connecting with me in concern for your pregnancy, I too share your concern as there is so much information it is hard to know what is right. Lets talk about evidence based practice and midwifery for the holistic model of care. Midwife attended birth has a much better outcome. In the hospital 1 in 3 women have c-sections. In the US we have bad out comes. (I have information from WHO {The World Health Org. } to back up this claim. In societies where midwives attend 95% of births there is a much better outcome for mom and baby. The USA is # 2 in in infant mortality in the developed world. All the information I will give to you will be evidence based. Here is a film to get you started. I will send you book recommendations and we will try to find a group in your area that practices evidence based care in your area. When you go to your Dr, appointment ask him/her what are your c-section rates and ask what are her epidural, and episiotomy rates. Most will dance around the question and say it is what the patient/consumer wants. Ask if you will be able to labor in water/tub or birth pool which is considered the "Natural epidural" or the "midwife epidural." Ask him about pitocion and his induction rate.....You have locked into my passion sister and I am ready to share so you can have a safe and meaningful birth experience. Blessings, Love, and Light.
