To Introduce I-Self:
Roots and Culture Magazine (Powered by: Digital Innovation Designs) consists of a large group of individuals with common goals such as unity and the promoting of our Rastafarian people, culture and lifestyle. Our Team has worked on several successful magazines within the Caribbean. We have been affiliated for several years with one of the best graphic designing companies in Italy which is owned by the graphic designing awards winner, Dario Albini who is a member of our team.

Roots and Culture Magazine will focus primarily on Rastafarian history, people, culture, entertainment, events, fashion, business, and much more. We intend to provide something for everyone.

We plan to make our presence known throughout the Caribbean and around the world by doing promotional events in the various countries of distribution. We have a lot in store for our long and short term readers. We intend to go above and beyond our readers’ expectations in our aim to be their number one source for the awareness of Rastafarian Culture. You can expect to see our magazine no later than October 2008.

Roots and Culture Magazine is an essential marketing medium for tapping into a large international population of Rastafarians. There are very few magazines in the Caribbean that advertise and promote Rastafarian Culture or that reaches out to the Rastafarians community. Our aim is to take to the world Rastafarian Culture and promote this community of people.

The magazine has a starting distribution of 30,000 copies (See a detail breakdown in Diagram 2). According to normal magazine circulation estimates, each magazine, on average, is expected to be read by four different readers, which is equivalent to 120,000 readers. This does not include online sales of soft copy versions. The magazine will be marketable to all Rastafarians throughout the Caribbean and around the world. However, based on our content and variety we expect to have readers of all genres. We have already received approval for sales of our magazine in bookstores, magazine stands, airports, pharmacies, Rastafarian stores and websites.

Marketing Strategy
Since Roots and Culture Magazine highlights the Rastafarian people, culture, and lifestyle in the Caribbean and throughout the rest of the world, it needs to have an extensive marketing campaign. We have come up with several methods to increase our readership and yet still maintain our brand awareness in our target market and beyond.

• Prior to the launch of the magazine we plan to have a fashion show entitled Prince and Princesses. The main aim of this show is to introduce the magazine and also highlight Rastafarian (roots and culture) fashion.
• Roots and Culture will hold its pre-launch party to which officials of the Rastafarians community, stakeholders, and the general public will be invited. They will be entertained by both local and international performers who will be featured in the first edition of the magazine.
• The magazine will officially be launched on the 31st October 2008 in Trinidad. There will be a subsequent launch in each distributing country. All advertisers will be invited, along will government officials and the media.
• Roots and Culture Magazine will also use models and street teams in the various countries of distribution who will wear Roots and Culture Magazine clothing in order to familiarize the general public with the magazine and its logo.
• Roots and Culture Magazine will also launch its official website www.rootsandculturemag.com where all advertisers in the magazine will be given the opportunity to advertise on the website for 50% off the website advertising cost. The website will be used extensively to convey the latest happenings, updates, pictures and news within the Rastafarian community.
• Roots and Culture Magazine website banners will be placed on several Rastafarian websites.
I like to Say:
What you can expect to see in every issue?

Greetings, Blessed Love

QUESTION:-What Are We Living For?

There are two basic concepts in human existence.
First, man must earn the good that JAH has prepared.
Secondly, he must receive this good.

This VALUE of love is for the world
for every man, woman, boy and girl
for every plant and animal on the land and in the sea
for all things in this world that be

to share this vision of global unity
through cooperation of humanity
where we all live together as one
here on this blue planet spiraling round a yellow sun
and we are one

and we are bringing in a world of love
bringing in a world of light
bringing in a world of peace
bringing in a world of harmony
where we all are free
you and me

i see people of all colors in every land
opening their hearts using their hands
planting the seeds of a new world
of sustainable communities coming into being
where everyone has a place to live
enough to eat plenty to give
living harmoniously with the land
finding balance within natures plan
no more hunger, no more poverty
green gardens with food for all humanity
no more sickness, no more disease
all consciously living in peace
and no more war that's for sure

for there's no reason to fight to survive
when the earth can provide all we need
from renewable resources obtained consciously
not using nuclear or fossil fuels any longer
when can get clean energy from the sun, wind and water
to light up our lives, play musical sounds
power our vehicles to move us around
for there is so much in our world to be seen heard and found
so let us start living this life right now!

and we are bringing in a world of love
bringing in a world of light
bringing in a world of peace
bringing in a world of harmony
where we all are free
you and me...
in the love and light
in peace an harmony we are free .

JAH Guidance
Peace N Love, Live Positive
