RastaReggae said… - Hi EmpressV, although I teach children from the Bible, in the end it's just a state of mind to be possitive about things. So when you want your children to have a possitive way of thinking and living a parent or teacher should be a possitive example. That also means being strict sometimes. E.g. I teach children are not allowed to say in the classroom that a lesson is boring. That's because there are children in that same classroom that like the same lesson and their pleasure is gone when they hear negative comments. The possitive state of mind is: don't think something is boring, but search for the things you DO like. It's a very small example, but it tells you that attitude is everything! In the end with a positive attitude you LOVE LIFE MORE!

Being a teacher myself I tell the stories of the Bible nearly every day to the little children (about 7 yrs old). After that we talk about our different views and things we experienced. So hearing about that those children feel accepted in their different ways of believing and thinking. They feel guidance because of that way of teaching, because every different view en belief is accepted and respected.

Sistren this trod of Rastafari is the most fulfilling path I have ever been on and I must share with the I that I have been studying a book called Haile Sellassie and the Opening of The Seven Seals by Kalin Ray Salassi and it has confirmed the very obvious to INI. I give thanks for books such as this one and ones like the Kebra Nagast!! Rastafari!!

and the fact they made cap gunz for our young sons and baby alive
for our daughters who are only five
arresting the freewill of their young minds and leaving inattentive to the crime
that just been committed
so they grow up to be targets for others and hitmans for each other
and our daughters well their just baby mothers,
so i ask you what does freedom mean to you?
because when i talk about freedom i'm talking about
mexicans who work for nothing just to have something
I still hear kids crying at night, because their father lost his life
for four chicken wings and fried rice
millions of jews murder by one man
because of their religion, but is'nt that their decison?
Free love from it's shackles
so our sister's won't have to prostitutes to pay their tutition
And our men won't treat their family like vacation places/ just visiting
false prophets preach the word of jesus in the light
then molest his children at night
our brothers and sisters living with low self esteem
because beauitful means makeup rather than
your inner being.
We pay taxes for places our children will never see, never be
and now they are killing each other
because they see love for it's popularity
and not the way jah intended it to be
were living in a place where no where is safe
our so called protection aims for the heart,
then get on the news and tell us it was a mistake........
But if i was Free, I'll give us all dreams that burst threw
the crevicous of reality and make metaphors jealous of us
let's demolish crack and bring poetry back!
