“Kalling All Soldiers Home”, a Vocalist, Songwriter Sensation making musical waves across the nation, has defined the true essence of combining R&B, Reggae and Rap! Her diversity has enabled her to sing alongside Smooth Jazz and Gospel artists and Calypso music bands.
She defines her name as one that is given to a messenger, calling all of the lost ones to come home, to follow their dreams, to never stop striving for the ultimate success, beyond all obstacles. This singing sensation has spread her vocal wings across the seas, from Trinidad and Tobago over to New York and Canada.
At a tender age, she graced the choirs and congregations at church with her resonating sound. While growing up, she followed her maternal footsteps, as she shadowed her Mother, hailing from a musical family. She touched the dance floor in performances and became enriched by her natural ability for body movement! Blessed as a theatrical performer, she has also held an off broadway spotlight on one of New York’s theatrical presentations, which undoubtedly sparked the debut of her music career!
She has been internationally recognized on websites including CaribQueenz.com, Reverbnation.com, MySpace.com and GhanaMusic.com
The voice she carries can be comparative to the likes of Patti La Belle, Aretha Franklin and even surpassing the likes of vocal ranges of Monica and Beyoncé.
Her self named CD is scheduled to release in late 2008 and will hit the Toronto airwaves with a BOOM! She has revitalized the Canadian music industry with her vocal tracks, like “Break Free” and “Simple Girl” which she performed with a live band at Sydney’s Island Restaurant on a Smooth Jazz Night, with songs like “Freak Me”, “Must Be A Place”, and “Rude Girlz Take Over” alongside Farm P, featuring Slammer Cutter. She is able to captivate any audience with her sound, whether she is bringing a rapso style or a dub style, her words are always poetic and filled with love. She tells her life story through her music, straight to the point and down to earth, singing on “Freak Me”, “Must Be A Place”, “Never Gonna Love Again”, “What I Got (P.H.A.T), “You Said” and “You Next to Me” alongside Jah Teff.
Her inspiration comes from her spiritual faith and her supportive family. Her journey through the ghetto leading up to her present day movements, has given her a sense of strength and has lead her to receive her “Kalling” to be a messenger to all people going through their own struggle to succeed. She often says, “It is better to try and fail, than to Fail to try.”
Her unique style and charisma brightens up any stage!
She is always available for performance bookings, as she enjoys singing for open mic nights, weddings, stage shows and studio recordings. K.A.S.H. is able to provide back-up vocals for any genre of music, given her versatility!
This Vocalist Queen is the next platinum recording artists who plans on humbly claiming her title in the top ten of music charts!
