Who Inspired InI:

Life as provided by The Most High KingAlphaQueenOmega Haile Selassi I inspired InI. The Branch was initiated in 1993 at the Vic Falls in Livingstone, Zambia by youthman and humbled servant Lennox; the RASspectable and HONORables Ancient Ras Pax Lochi; Ancient Ras Joseph and Elder Ras Ranchion (Justice Rockers) from Livingstone. The already well-known singer, Ras Judah Brown and genius guitarist Elder Daniel joined The Branch in 1995 while I&I were touring South Africa. The producer Ben Amato joined in 1997. The group Colorfields joined The Branch in 2002 as a colaboration backing band for live shows and the group performed together as African Rhythm Travelers that soon started producing new material always true to the mission of reawakening and producing of African conscious music in praises of the Most High Jah. Ras Judah Brown was shot twice in the back in 2007 outside the wretched city of Johannesburg by two hitchhikers whom he, true to his nature, gave a lift. They dumped his lifeless body in the street and took the car. Elder Diles died three weeks after Ras Judah from a tumor. Both Kings received Raspectable and Royal burials by the Royal House of Nyabhinghi in Somerset-West and Paarl in Cape Town. Their spirit is represented and alive in InI music and this page is dedicated to them. The Branch is now in process of registering as a NPO with Ras Gareth Prince, Elder Moses and ras Lennox that aims to focus on community ivelopment and specifically disadvantaged youth supplementary educational projects teaching drumming, organic farming and holistic health. Musically, The Branch is in the process of conceptualizing an unplugged traditional Zambian music Album called "Back to the Roots", to complete the 15 year cycle where it all began, in central Zion. Currently all proceedings of The Branch's music is going towards the funding of the Honorable Ras Judah Brown's 12 year old daughter, Samantha's education.

Breakthrough on the Conservation Battleground...

I and I are happy to report that a breakthrough has been made in the ongoing battle with Cape Nature Conservation Board in the Western Cape, Azania South Africa.
