What does it mean to be a virtuous woman?

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands." "She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."-Prov. 31:10-13, 26-31.

A woman isn't born virtuous. She can be taught virtue if her mother is a virtuous woman, but to apply it when she marries she needs: Wisdom! Wisdom begins when we honor, respect, esteem and admire the Lord.

Rasta Empress or Imposter Empress?

A lot of sisters claim the title of "Empress" or Rasta Woman and they know not the first thing about His Majesty.

Is it because everything they know about Rasta they learn from reggae music? Was there a nice Kingman who decided his woman should turn Rasta, but he never took the time to teach her His Majesty's teachings?

While as Virtuous Women we look toward the Kingmen in our loves for guidance and protection, many do not have the blessing of a clean hearted, Jah fearing Rasta Kingman.

In that case, we must sacrifice ourselves to the Most High Jah, study, and wait upon Jah to send a proper individual . We have to set free the mental chains that tell us we are not strong women unless we have a man. And any particular bredren with any particular frame of mind should never be enough for a Virtous Woman.

We need Kingmen because that's natural, but we also need to be in a spiritual state of mind and livety to receive the bountiful blessings of Jah, which is to have a Kingman who you love and respect and He loves and respects you too. And you don't mind being servants one to another.

"Servant" but not slave. A slave is one that submits to the will of another even if it is not his own will. To serve is to offer help.

Serve each other a smile every morning, a footrub after a hard day out on the road, and some nice loving at night.

Serve your Kingman willingly and Jah will bless you abundantly. Serve your Empress with gladness and you shall be greatly rewarded.
