I briefly laughed @ ur comment coz I&I totally relate to the Iya. I&I see it everyday since I&I awakened to RASTAFARI. I&I c ppl lookin at me. Some stare blatantly and some sneak looks from the corner of their eyes. But I&I keep walkin and standin proud coz I&I kno dat I truely blessed to be in the light of Jah and smile gladly coz I&I been saved from Babylon.

Many may see Idrens as "abnormal" or "lost" but all of dem agree dat we a nation of peace, eat & live Ital & have unconditional luv.

Irie kuni nonke, Ras Tafari is, was and shall be for Iver more, blessed are all those who put their trust in HIM for they shall be like Mount Zion which can not be moved but abide for Iver.

I overstand what the Iyz are saying but over the years I have realised that we the Rastas need to make people raspect InI by the way we conduct ourselves, especially here in South Africa the way Rastafari has been exposed to the people in general is incorrect, we are known in some areas as people who dont wash, with dirty hair, smoke marijuana ntsangu dagga which is a drug that makes people high and even mad, that is where the madness comes from and the strange things of not accepting what our communities recognise as norms and standards. So this change in a person people will think you is mad. We need to excell in things that we do and show more determination and courage and most important to be very humble and respective in all our actions. Over the years in school/tertiary institutions I had to do well to show that what I do (by being Rasta) is not abnormal, lets do what they can do and do it better. In the working environment is the same you are looked at that how can a Rasta do this while he/she is under the influence of intsangu marijuana, they are under the impression that ganja is something we take anywhere at any time. So to change this we need to improve for better the things that we do when we dealing with them for them to recognise us as a nation. Progress must be moral.
The part that InI is lost is from the fact that when we recognise Rastafari within INIselves we turn to be rebellious to the ways that we were brought up, like some of the traditions and culture like slaughtering of animals. We then go and identify ourselves with other tribes and nations like Ethiopia. To the communities we grow up in our continent we are seen as lost becuase they dont know what we do they only identify themselves with the recent Kings and call themselves by those like King Xhosa,King Zulu and the so forth, but we identifying ourselves with the ancient ways of creation not with the recent ways of man that they established in the recent centuries.

Forward to the youths of South Africa as they face a lot of challenges, but it is up to them to present themselves as Rastas to bring positive change in our communities through word sound and power. Most import let us establish a nation within our country and come together as one community with values and be recognised as such. When they went to see HIM before 1966 He said they must go back to organise and centralise, this will bring recognition.

Ones n ones may argue ova di book of life and the prescription for guidance; inna dis here tymes idrens need dis type of dialogue (more strenght more power) I agree whole heartily with ThirdI... we as Rastafari must live InI lives inna upfull matter to show babylon who we are and wha we stand for... that means not just talking the talk but walking the walk this livity is no joke, for InI this livity is truth and light inna mi sight.
